Good evening Riptide,

I’m re sending the information again for tomorrow evenings makeup meet. Our warm ups will be at 5:25 so please have your swimmers on deck by 5:10. As has become expected this summer there is a threat for storms so check the app and your email for alerts prior to heading out.

Divisionals 
- There still seems to be a little confusion on who can swim in Divisionals. Swimmers do not need to qualify for this meet. Anyone that has no more than one qualifying All Star time is eligible to swim. If you are qualified for All Stars in only one event you may still swim in Divisionals, you just can’t swim in All Star event you qualified in. Additionally, swimmers have one last chance to qualify for All Stars during this meet so I encourage everyone to participate. If you still have questions please contact me  

Schedule for the remainder of the week  

- Wednesday: Regular practice 

- Thursday: Divisional Entries due by 5:00pm and fun practice from 9:00-10:00

- Friday: Regular practice 

- Saturday: Divisionals, more info from host coming soon

Tomorrow’s Meet Info

The Stratford Sea Otters look forward to hosting the Riptides during our upcoming meet on Wednesday, July 9^th! As a reminder we will need your team to supply a starter and referee.

Our details for the meet are provided below. Please let me know if you have any questions/ concerns. Additionally, please let me know an approximate head count so we can try to ensure we have enough pizza for everyone!

Parking Details:

Our parking lot is rather small and guest parking is very limited. We ask our team to not park in the pool parking lot to ensure as much parking as possible for visiting teams. Parking will also be allowed in any open parking spot on our streets. There is NO parking along Hope Pkwy. When parking in the neighborhood, we kindly ask all parents to be aware of the hydrants and not to block any driveways or mailboxes. Please allow time to find parking and to walk to the pool area!

Entrance Instructions: Please use the open gates to enter and exit the pool area.

Schedule:

Pool Deck opens at 4:30 PM

Stratford Sea Otters warmups begin at 5:00 PM

Riptides warmups at begin at 5:25 PM

The National Anthem will be played around 5:55 PM.

The meet will begin at 6:00 PM

Team/Spectator Area: The visiting team will have their team area in the baby pool area. Otters will be located on the other side of the fence behind to the concession area. Additionally, as a reminder, no one is allowed in any part of the pool/ baby pool during the meet.

All parents can find seating or bring chairs to set up around the pool area. We will have sections marked off for the meet. We ask parents to not set up in these areas.

Supervision: Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up their team areas. Please remind your swimmers to stay with the team during the meet.

Concessions: Concessions will be available for the meet. We will accept cash only.

Drinks: Water, Gatorade, Sodas

Food Items: Pizza and candy of course!
