The Rivercrest Swim Team was founded in May 2007 as a family-focused, developmental, and competitive summer swim program. Our mission is to create a safe, positive environment where children in our community can enjoy the sport of swimming, build confidence, practice sportsmanship, strengthen teamwork, and grow both individually and as part of a team — all while having fun and developing a lifelong love of the water.
The Rivercrest Riptide is a proud member of the Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL), a summer league made up teams throughout Loudoun County. Our team includes around 90 swimmers ages 5–18. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, swimmers are supported in a safe, encouraging, and instructional environment where they are challenged to achieve their personal best and contribute to team success.
For younger swimmers who are not yet ready for competition, our Mini Waves program helps Rivercrest children build foundational swimming skills, gain water safety confidence, and prepare to become future Riptide swimmers.
Practices and home meets are held at the Rivercrest Community Pool.
