Good Morning Riptide,

It's hard to believe, but we are just under three weeks away from our first practice and we are very excited to see you all there, and meet all of our new families. This email contains  a lot of important information so I'll give you the TLDR (too long, didn't read) version first.

We have some deadlines quickly coming up that we need our roster number for, so if you are planning on registering your children it would be greatly appreciated if you could do so ASAP. Remember, we totally understand that a lot of you have vacations planned, kids playing other sports, going to camps in the morning, etc, but Riptide is very flexible so even if your family can't fully participate, you are still welcome to join us. 

We have a lot of great new spirit wear on our new Swimoutlet store. This is a grist platform and it gives us a lot of freedom with both our ability to offer many more merchandise options than in the past, as well as the flexibility to place your orders on your timeline as each item is custom made once your order is placed. The current timeline for items to be shipped is 5-10 days. This timeline may be extended as summer approaches and Swimoutlet becomes busier.  There are a few limitations with what we were able to provide based on item availability and color options. You may notice some items where there wasn't an equivalent option for boys, girls, men, woman. Keep checking the site as we may be adding new items throughout the next few weeks. Swimoutlet will be sending each family that is currently registered an invitation to accept your free membership. Some benefits of the membership are free shipping over $50, member discounts on most items, rewards on your purchases. The team also receives a 5% Swimoulet rebate on each purchase that we will be able to use to purchase new equipment as needed. 

Since it's an Olympic year, we have designed an Olympic themed team shirt. The shirt is available in 100% cotton as well as a 50/50 tech material option. Prices run from $15.29-$17.99 and can be purchased at our team store. We really hope that everyone will order one.

Our rep from Sportfair will be at the pool on 5/23 from 5:00-6:30 with our new team suit available to try on and purchase. Unfortunately Arena had a manufacturing issue with the production of our current suit and had to throw them all out. Due to this situation we have been forced to go with a new design. We realize that some of you may want to stay with your current suit for another year and you are welcome to do so. However, due to the mistake, Sportfair will be passing along a discount to us so the suits will be a little more reasonably priced. Even if you don't plan on purchasing a suit this year, try and stop by and meet Coach Michaela.
